Michigan Gaining Steam To Land Another Five-Star Recruit?

The Wolverines hosted five-star CB Davon Benjamin for a visit earlier this summer. The No. 2 CB and a top 25 recruit, Benjamin, who is considering five schools still (Texas, Oregon, Michigan, Washington and UNC), told On3’s Max Torrest the following:

Michigan has gained some traction with Benjamin lately following his official visit to Ann Arbor.

“In Ann Arbor it was real nice. It was a surprising visit for me especially because I’d never think a kind of kid like me all the way in Michigan. Really when I got out there I was like I can do this. It’s something similar to what I’d seen.

“Everybody has their own style of tradition of what it is. Michigan is the most winning program in football history, so when I got down there just really trying to see what separates Michigan and why do they call them the most winning school in the nation? And see how much they really put time and
