Michigan Expected To Be A Front-Runner For Top Elite Recruit And Recent Big 12 Decommit

James “JJ” Dunnigan Jr. is a standout athlete from Manhattan High School in Manhattan, Kansas, and a member of the class of 2026. Standing around 6-foot-2 and weighing about 190 pounds, Dunnigan has emerged as one of the top defensive back prospects in the Midwest.

While Dunnigan committed to Kansas on January 2, 2025, during the Under Armour Next All-America Game, he recently re-opened his recruitment.

Michigan, which has been recruiting the top 150 safety recruit for some time, is believed to be a favorite moving forward.
