Major News Involving Drake Harris Possibly Playing A Second Sport

Drake Harris, a redshirt junior who recently switched from wide receiver to cornerback, will apparently be putting work on the hardwood next year for the Michigan basketball team. Rivals’ Chris Balas is reporting that the former two-sport star out of Grand Rapids plans to play for John Beilein next year:

We’ve heard Michigan redshirt junior wide receiver Drake Harris will be pursuing basketball now … yes, at Michigan. Head coach John Beilein will take him in a heartbeat if the football coaches approve (we’ve heard Harris met with the coach yesterday), and we believe they will (and probably already have).

As MGoBlog.com notes, Harris, once committed to Michigan State for football and basketball, was once ranked as the No. 46 overall basketball prospect in the 2014 class. Watch Harris ball out in these high school highlights:
