No.1 Kansas State destroyed by Baylor, No. 2 Oregon loses in overtime, BCS now in shambles

So much for the perfect season and National Championship shot for Kansas State. Lache Seastrunk and the Baylor Bears exposed the Wildcats offensively and defensively. Baylors beat No. 1 ranked Kansas state, 52-24.

Holding Oregon’s fast pace offense to 14 points, Stanford edged out No.2 Oregon in overtime. Stanfords’ Jordan Williamson made a 37-yard field goal, while Oregon’s kicker Alejandro Maldonado missed a 41-yarder off the upright.

With No. 2 Oregon also falling to Stanford, the next BCS rankings will be full of SEC teams and Notre Dame: 1) Notre Dame; 2) Alabama; 3) Georgia; 4)Florida. All four teams have big games next week as Notre Dame faces USC, Alabama-Auburn, Georgia-Georgia Tech, and Florida-Florida State. Will be an exciting finish to the college football season.
