Kirk Herbstreit Has Laughable Answer To Why Michigan’s Not Elite

ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit has Michigan as his No. 3 team in the country (behind Alabama and Clemson) after ten weeks.  Asked whether Michigan is an elite team, here was Herbstreit’s response:

The reason he believes the showdown in Columbus will better determine if the Wolverines, who have beaten No. 7 Wisconsin, No. 12 Penn State and No. 15 Colorado, is one of college football’s best:
