Katherine Webb defends Brent Musburger on “The Today Show”

First of all, why is this still a news story? I mean honestly, this is getting absurd.  Yes, Musburger went a little over the top, but people are making this out to be worse than it was.  Even Katherine Webb thinks so.

“I think the media has been really unfair to him,” Webb said.  “I think that if he would have said some along the lines that we were hot or sexy or made any derogatory statements like that, I think that would have been a little bit different. But the fact that he said that we were beautiful and gorgeous, I don’t see why any woman wouldn’t be flattered by that.”

Webb handled the questions like a true pageant winner, and said that it was flattering to be in the spotlight.  She went from 2,300 followers to over 200,000 in 24 hours, which isn’t a record, but it should be close to it.  The power of social media is simply incredible.
