Kansas Head Coach Charlie Weis buying tickets for Students on Senior Night

After what has surely been a turbulent year for Charlie Weis, this is certainly a good way to patch things up and get people back on his side.  Holding a practice without the Seniors because Weis wanted to work on the future certainly didn’t go over well with many of the fans and I’m sure many of the players still aren’t happy about it.

The Students will be able to pick up the tickets (first come, first serve) and Weis will pay for any Student that didn’t have previously purchased tickets.  It’s the least he can do for a fan base that has only seen two conference wins in the last four years, under three different head coaches.  At least the Jayhawks still have a great basketball team.
