Jeopardy Players Bomb College Football Category

On Tuesday, Jeopardy featured a category on “College Football Hall of Famers’ Schools.” Five-time champions Ben Ingram was able to get the $200 and $400 clues right (“George Gipp & Joe Theismann” and “Lynn Swann & Marcus Allen”) but the next three clues didn’t go as smoothly.  All three contestants failed miserably at what should be layups for the average football fan (“Archie Griffin & Eddie George”, “Bobby Layne & Earl Campbell” and “Johnny Rodgers & Grant Wistrom”).  My personal favorite was when Donna guessed Georgia for Archie Griffin and Eddie George.  Good job, good effort.
