Jarvis Jones strips UF’s Jordan Reed near goal line to seal victory for Georgia

Jarvis Jones is slated for one of the top picks in the 2013 NFL Draft. Jones is a consensus All-American and made the deciding play when he sealed the victory for the Georgia Bulldogs.

After getting the first down with 2:22 left in the game and down by eight, Florida’s Jordan Reed, who had five catches for 74-yards, attempted to go airborne to get into the end-zone and tie the game up. Unfortunately for Reed, Jones saw it coming, came from behind to strip Reed. Sanders Commings recovered the ball in the end zone and Georgia snuck out of Jacksonville, Florida for 17-9 victory.

The two SEC East teams combined for nine turnovers, six from Florida and three interceptions from Georgia’s Aaron Murray.
