Is There Any Way Keon Sabb Would Return To Michigan With Rod Moore’s Injury?

With the news that Rod Moore suffered a torn ACL in a non contact activity during Michigan’s spring practice, the Wolverines might be without their star safety the entire 2023-24 season. While Michigan has returners Makari Paige and Quinten Johnson, also youngsters Zeke Berry and Brandyn Hillman, it is possible Michigan will look to the portal to add another safety.

Keon Sabb, who departed for Alabama earlier this offseason, certainly seems like a major blow now. Sabb, who was looking for more of a role as a starter and found one with Alabama, likely won’t be returning. While the Crimson Tide did have Kadyn Proctor, a one-time Alabama player who transferred to Iowa only to return to Alabama several months later, it would seem unlikely that Sabb would make his return to Michigan.

Sabb is expected to start for the Crimson Tide this season.

Michigan fans sure are hopeful Sabb changes his mind:
