Insider Gives The Latest On Michigan’s Pursuit Of Two Top QB Recruits

With the Wolverines set to host two top QBs in the 2026 class, Ryder Lyons and Brady Smiegel, On3’s Steve Wiltfong gives the latest on the two signal callers:

Folsom (Calif.) High On3 Industry five-star quarterback Ryder Lyons maintains a top three of BYU, Oregon and USC with strong interest in Michigan, Ole Miss and Ohio State as well. BYU and their terrific season has his attention. Planning to take an LDS Mission following his senior year, his faith lines up with the Cougars program as well. We’ll see if upcoming trips to Oxford and Ann Arbor change anything with Lyons.

The nation’s No. 7 quarterback Brady Smigiel dropped his top four this past weekend. Washington is the On3 RPM pick. South Carolina is one I’m also keeping a close eye on with Michigan and UCLA rounding out the finalists.
