Herbstreit Says UM’s Playoff Chances Rely On This Championship Game

Kirk Herbstreit, who called the Ohio State double OT win over Michigan, was on ESPN’s Mike & Mike talking about Saturday’s game Monday morning.  The former Ohio State QB believes that if Colorado defeats Washington in the Pac 12 Championship Game, a two-loss Michigan team would make the College Football Playoff.

A Penn State win over Wisconsin in the Big Ten Championship game would likely help the Wolverines’ case as well. Michigan beat Colorado and Penn State in back-to-back weeks by a combined score of 94-38.
