Jim Harbaugh said that starting OG Zak Zinter, who started the last game vs. Washington but missed most of the Western game due to an injury, is dealing with a broken hand:
Jim Harbaugh says he has been assured by doctors that Zak Zinter's broken right hand cannot be made worse by playing with a club on it. Wanted to "dip his toe in the water" against Western Michigan before putting back in full time against Washington.

Zinter is arguably Michigan’s top offensive lineman – and the Wolverines sure have been impressive so far running the ball this year.
