Harbaugh Shares Why Father Of Michigan Starter Is One Of His Heroes

Talking with media about OL Karsen Barnhart, who has started at left and right tackle this year for Michigan, Jim Harbaugh mentioned that Jeff, Karsen’s dad, is his hero for all the hard work he does:

“Nobody works like Jeff Barnhart. I mean it’s six, seven days a week operating the big machines. He’s like a hero to me. I’ve gotten into some of the tools and upping my game when it comes to skid steers and tractors and chainsaws. That’s kind of who I idolize in that department is Jeff Barnhart. I had a chance to work with him a few times on a project and watched him move that dirt around with the skid steer. Taught me how to do it. That was cool.”
