Gil, a one-time Miami (FL) pledge, should be able to play the hybrid safety/linebacker position that Jabrill Peppers currently mans. A hard hitter at 6-foot-1 and 205-pounds, Gil might have to step up immediately at linebacker or safety if an injury were to occur.
