A Couple Five-Star RBs Had Some Note Worthy Reactions To Tony Alford Heading To Michigan

Michigan landed a big coaching addition on Wednesday as nine-year OSU RB coach Tony Alford jumped ship and will join Sherrone Moore’s staff. It could already be paying dividends on the recruiting trail, too. According to On3’s EJ Holland, the No. 1 RB in the 2026 class has a close relationship to Alford and wants it to grow:

Five-star 2025 RB Jordon Davison:

Davison told The Wolverine: “Great hire to me. Coach Alford and I have a great relationship. Happy for him”
