Per a source, Wilton Speight has broken his collarbone and is out for the remainder of the regular season. Depending on the exact nature of the issue it is possible he could return for the bowl game.

Speight suffered the injury after taking two hard hits to his non-throwing shoulder late in the 4th quarter of Saturday’s loss to Iowa.

While Jim Harbaugh did say Monday while talking with media that it will be a game-time decision on whether the redshirt sophomore will be able to suit up this weekend, don’t get your hopes up on seeing No. 3 play against Indiana or in Columbus on November 26th.

John O’Korn and Shane Morris are the next QBs up for the Wolverines, who take on the Hoosiers at 3:30 this Saturday in the Big House.
