Another Michigan Freshman Burns Redshirt

Nate Johson, a freshman WR out of Tennessee, saw his first action of the season during Michigan’s 41-8 win over Illinois. Johnson, a three-star recruit, had one reception for four-yards in the game.

Harbaugh mentioned earlier in the week that Johnson had been performing well during practice. None of the three 2016 WR recruits – Kekoa Crawford, Eddie McDoom and now Johnson – will redshirt this year for the Wolverines.
