5-star RB recruit flushes Alabama letter down toilet, removes video

Highly touted 5-star runningback recruit Elijah Hood has been committed to Notre Dame for quite some time now and it appears that he is not going to renege on that verbal commitment.  He made a video of himself flushing a letter from Nick Saban down the toilet saying “Roll Toilet” but eventually removed the video and apologized after his high school coach told him to take it down.

It appears that he realized that apology wasn’t sincere enough, with the “hahaha” in it and he took to Twitter for some damage control.

Personally, I don’t see why this is a big deal.  Yeah it might not have been the most respectful thing to do, but it was still pretty funny and after all, these recruits are only 17 years old.  People seem to forget that these recruits are just kids and they’re just trying to have some fun.
