4* LB Is Considering These Programs After Asking For Release From Michigan

After asking for his release from his letter of intent, Jaden Smith, a four-star LB out of North Carolina, seems to be considering these programs as mentioned by Rivals’ Adam Friedman:

Keep an eye on teams like Virginia Tech, N.C. State, Kentucky, Florida State, and USC moving forward. Smith was very interested in each of them the first time around. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Smith’s recruitment wrapped up in a couple weeks.

Smith, who saw his rankings just up to four-star status after a senior campaign, says that he had not heard from Michigan coaches for several weeks. Nearly every coach he mentioned in his note are no longer with the program:

Best of luck to wherever he winds up.
