Rather than put together an announcement at a school and line the table with a few hats to pick from, 2014 wide receiver Derek Kief put together an interesting video. He had his friends and family come over, and used his baby sister wearing an Alabama shirt to announce his commitment. Then the video had Lynyrd Skynyrd “Sweet Home Alabama” playing as the background music while the camera panned the room with everyone wearing an Alabama shirt. This was a nice video that allowed him to include his friends and family in the process and added some uniqueness to his commitment. It was a good weekend for Bama who also added four-star quarterback David Cornwell.
