Nerlens Noel releases rap

Kentucky’s freshman center, Nerlens Noel, is out for the season with a torn ACL. A potential top 5 pick in the 2013 NBA Darft, Noel is still making headlines after recording a rap song with Lexington’s Wes Grams.

Noel’s free-style doesn’t happen until the 1:50 mark in the video, but consists of one liners such as “tore my ACL but still make it to the pros.” Also potential good news for UK fans, “I might come back-but I don’t know yet.”

I’d say Noel’s rap is slightly easier to listen to than ‘Teach Me Bout Kentucky’ from Terrance Jones with Wes Gram.
