NCAA Takes Away Cat Mug From Reporter Because It’s the NCAA

Jason Gay, a reporter for the Wall Street Journal, decided to test the NCAAs limits on cups and brought a cat mug with him.

The NCAA did in fact take the cat mug from him, sticking to their guns about no NCAA cups near the court.Β At least they gave it back to him, but still, this rule is totally ridiculous.

From the Wall Street Journal:

I’ll say it right up front: I was not innocently wandering into the Garden with a cat mug. I felt the NCAA cup rule was pretty funny, and a bit ridiculous, so I wanted to wage a tiny protest against the NCAA by bringing my kitty cat beverage holder to the game.
