Louisville’s Chris Jones Kicked Off Team After Texting Woman ‘Smack The F Out Of You’

Louisville kicked its third leading scorer, Chris Jones, off the team this weekend. Jones, who had previously gotten in trouble after being involved in a fight, was the subject of a harassment report filed by the woman he was having a relationship with.

Around midnight last Tuesday, a U of L student claimed she went to Jones’ apartment and waited for him, but he didn’t return, according to a “run report” provided by university police in response to a request under the Kentucky Open Records Act.

As she left around 3 a.m., according to the report, she acknowledged “messing up” his room. At 2 p.m., the report states, Jones allegedly texted the woman that he would “smack TF out of” her.
