The Izzone chants “Justin Bieber” to Michigan’s Spike Albrecht

The Michigan State student section came up with a clever way at getting to the head of Michigan’s back-up point guard, Spike Albrecht. Albrecht, who was the hero of last year’s National Championship game with 17 points, was fouled on a three point shot during Saturday’s Big Ten battle. When he stepped to the line of his first attempts, the Izzone started chanting “Justin Bieber.” Albrecht would make two of his three attempts, so it appeared the Michigan State student section did their job.

In the end, however, Michigan would get the better of their in-state rivals, winning 80-75.

Albrecht tweeted about the Bieber chants after the game.
