Louisville’s Chris Jones, who was recently kicked off the team, has been charged with rape and sodomy of two separate women, the Louisville Courier Journal reports.
Jones was the Cardinals’ third leading scorer this season. It was previously reported that he was kicked off the team for sending threatening text messages to a woman. However, after the reports of Jones facing double rape charges, it’s pretty clear why Rick Pitino kicked him off the team. Jones is expected to surrender in court at some point Thursday, according to the report.
Jones appeared in court today where he pled not guilty and has been sentenced to house arrest.
