Five-Star Center Decommits From Illinois

With John Groce getting fired and Illinois hiring Brad Underwood, Jeremiah Tilmon, the No. 28 recruit in the 2017 class, has asked for his release:

Tilmon, an East Saint Louis, Illinois native, was the headliner of the Illini class. Missouri is expected to be the front-runner moving forward.

Groce, the former Illinois coach, was recently hired by Akron.
