Five Grad-Transfers That Michigan Should Pursue

Prev1 of 6Next

With news that Aubrey Dawkins will transfer out of Michigan and play his final two years of college basketball at UCF under his father, the Wolverines have one open scholarship for the 2016-17 season. Michigan, with four commits heading in, PG Xavier Simpson,  SG/SF Ibi Watson, C Jon Teske and C Austin Davis, could bring another ’16 recruit in or have point guard Spike Albrecht back on scholarship.

Asked about the possibility of bringing back Albrecht, a grad transfer or even another incoming recruit, here’s what Beilein said on Wednesday.

“Anything’s possible,” Beilein said via UMHoops. “We are open to any possibilities that come forward now.”
