Cal’s Jordan Mathews, Minnesota’s Charles Buggs To Grad-Transfer

Jordan Mathews, who will graduate this summer from the University of California, announced Tuesday that he will play his final year of college ball elsewhere.

Gonzaga is the favorite to land the 6-foot-3 guard, who averaged 13.5 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game. Cal is the likely landing spot for Kentucky transfer Marcus Lee, and the Golden Bears already snagged Columbia grad-transfer guard Grant Mullins.

Charles Buggs, a 6-foot-9 forward for Minnesota, who averaged just under 6 ppg. and 3 rpg., will transfer for his 5th year.
