Austin Davis, a 6-foot-10 and 240-pound center, committed to Michigan this evening. An Onsted, Michigan native, Davis averaged 17.3 points and 12.4 rebounds per game last season.
According to 247Sports, Beilein watched Davis at the adidas Uprising camp in Dallas, Texas last weekend ($). He received a scholarship offer today and committed within the hour.

Davis, who also held offers from Central Michigan and Toledo, joins fellow center Jon Teske as the only UM commits for the 2016 class. Several other teams – Michigan State, Indiana Wisconsin and Notre Dame – had shown interest in Davis before his commitment to the Wolverines.
