Tim Howard set a World Cup record with his 16 saves during Tuesday’s heartbreaking loss to Belgium. Howard, quite frankly, kept the United States in the game and throughout the match was the best player on the pitch. As a result, the Wikipedia page for the United States Security of Defense, a position currently held by Chuck Hagel, was briefly held by the 35-year-old keeper.

A petition, which needs just over 96K more signatures by the end of the month, has been created to change Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport to the ‘Tim Howard National Airport’. Interestingly enough too, Howard announced this morning that he was drug tested by FIFA after his 16 save performance.
