Cleveland Indians prospect Jordan Smith is hoping to make the team this year and play in the big leagues; this is going to get him a little notoriety in the clubhouse.
In a Spring Training game against the Angels on Sunday, Smith stole second base on a wild pitch; however, the steal didn’t go as expected. Halfway to second, he fell down, though he still made it safely.
It could be worse, at least he actually stole the base and didn’t pull a Ryan Braun rounding third:
