Kentucky Beats Wichita State in Classic After Fred VanVleet Misses Potential Game-Winner

As good of a tournament game you’ll ever see, Kentucky edged out the previously undefeated Wichita State in the Round of 32, 78-76.

The No.1 seed Shockers had a chance to win at the buzzer, but point guard, Fred VanVleet’s three-point attempt went right. Heartbreaking ending to a remarkable season for Wichita State. Cleanthony Early finished with 31 points on 17 shots, and also had a huge slam during the first-half.

Kentucky will play Lousiville in Indianapolis in the Sweet 16.
