The fourteen seed in the Midwest bracket of the NCAA Tournament Mercer beat Duke on Friday afternoon, becoming the first real upset of March Madness. After the game, the Bears’ head coach, Bob Hoffman gave an amazing interview with Rachel Nichols saying, “praise the lord, WOOOO!”
Mercer has quickly become this year’s Florida Gulf Coast, and what’s not to love about this team; it’s made up of a bunch of tough seniors, has a great and entertaining coach, and best of all, has the nation’s best dancer in Kevin Canevari.
