The Phoenix Suns were down by 14 points in the 4th quarter of Monday’s game with the LA Clippers, when things turned ugly. Blake Griffin, finished with 37 points (29 coming in the first half), got into tussle going for a rebound with the Suns’ P.J. Tucker under the basket. Tucker then attempted a punch at Griffin’s face.
Earlier in the game, Griffin had done the Karl “Mailman Malone dunk, so maybe the Suns took exception and wanted to get back at him. Tucker will certainly be hearing from Commissioner Adam Silver.
