Brooks Orpik taken off on stretcher after Shawn Thornton cheap shot

The Boston Bruins-Pittsburgh Penguins game was extremely chippy on Saturday, but this play Bruins forward Shawn Thornton made on Penguins defenseman Brooks Orpik was ridiculous.  During a confrontation after the whistle, Thornton slew-footed Orpik and then punched him twice while he was down on the ice and knocked him out cold.  Orpik had to be taken off on a stretcher, but flew home with the team Saturday night. Thornton will be getting suspended for this incident, no doubt about it, and James Neal may be suspended for his cheap shot on Brad Marchand.
