Carlos Beltran robbed David Ortiz of a Grand Slam in Game 1 of the WS

It was like we were watching the play that sent Torii Hunter over the wall in Game 2 of the ALCS all over again. This time, however, David Ortiz’s Grand Slam ball was tracked down and caught by the Cardinals’ Carlos Beltran, who did a little better than Hunter of estimating where he was in relation to the wall. Somehow it was Beltran that would end up leaving the game after this play and not Hunter.
