It’s not often that passing plays work out this perfectly, but this play was absolutely awesome. The Boston Bruins big line of Milan Lucic-David Krejci-Nathan Horton executed a perfect “ABC” offensive zone entry on the Pittsburgh Penguins in the first period. Horton drove wide, Lucic went hard to the net to draw the defenseman towards him, and David Krejci went to the high slot. Horton hit Lucic with a perfect pass which he dropped back to Horton and then Horton fired a crisp pass over to Krejci who buried the shot past Tomas Vokoun. If you’re a hockey coach looking to show your team how to enter an offensive zone, this video is a textbook example.
