Senators’ Chris Neil cup checks Penguins’ Douglas Murray

Ottawa Senators forward Chris Neil is one of the more frustrating players to play against in the league and this GIF shows why.  While going to gain position in front of the net, he cup checks Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Douglas Murray in a completely unnecessary cheap shot.  How Neil wasn’t called for a slash on this play is beyond me.
