Chris Mueller’s skate cuts through net, his foot gets stuck

Early on during the Nashville Predators-Detroit Red Wings game on Sunday night, a strange incident occurred with Predators forward Chris Mueller.  Mueller was driving wide on Red Wings defenseman Carlo Colaiacovo and was taken down.  As Mueller spun out, he crashed into the net and his skate blade was sharp enough to cut through the net.  The net had to be repaired but the Predators didn’t get much use out of it, losing to the Red Wings 3-0.
