Brenden Dillon scores wacky goal as puck bounces off goalie’s back

There’s no proper way to describe the goal that Dallas Stars defenseman Brenden Dillon scored against the Edmonton Oilers other than calling it wacky.  His shot initially deflected off Oilers forward Lennart Petrell’s skate, hit a stanchion and then bounced off goalie Devan Dubnyk’s back.

The goal tied the game at one and shifted the momentum in favor of the Dallas Stars, who went on to beat the Oilers 4-1.  I’m guessing this play went exactly as Dillon drew it up in his head when he shot it.
