NFL Pro Bowl used wrong Detroit Lions logo on jersey

For a league that is so adamant about a dress code (Earl Bennett fined $5,000 for wearing orange cleats or Frank Gore $10,500 for low socks), you’d think they would at least put the effort into having the correct logo for their teams.

According to the Detroit Lions website, the two Lions Pro Bowl representatives  Ndamukong Suh and Don Muhlbach, both had the pre-2003 Lions logo on their jerseys.

Although it is just a subtle difference from the current logo to the pre-2003 logo, you can see that the two are different (via The Sports Design Blog).

I’m willing to bet that this Ndamukong Suh news will take a back seat to him saving a drowning Louie Anderson on Celebrity Diving earlier in the day.
