The Dallas Stars did a similar thing but showed the empty seat as Manti Te’o girlfriend, Lennay Kekua. Maybe we are getting to the end of this kind of humor, although Manti is to be interviewed by Katie Couric set to air on Thursday, and there is sure to be something coming from the interview to fuel more humor.
Like the Cavs have any room to make fun of anyone. Aren’t they making fun of themselves with all of the empty seats?
I agree with Lebron J, this has all gone too far and we now know who was behind all this and that the focus should now be on them. Manti maybe did appear gullible but he was in his mind corresponding with a real person that did lead him on and it is just a shame that such a fine young man was taken advantage of in this very sinister manner. To hell with those who act like the Cleveland jumbotron operator.
