Bob Knight is not sure of the difference between shot and game-clocks

Hall of Fame coach Bob Knight didn’t sound like a Hall of Fame announcer Thursday night during the Kentucky-Vanderbilt game.

Knight had absolutely no idea what the difference between the shot-clock and game-clock were.

It was clear that the shot-clock was at 0.0 when Nerlens Noel sunk what would end up being the game-winning shot (should not have counted). To the eyes of 72-year-old Knight, the 17.3 seconds on the game-clock was what he was thinking the shot clock was. Thankfully, Rece Davis was there to take charge and describe to Knight what the two clocks meant.

  1. Us older people can get a little confused at times, just not good to do this in a public format.
