Report: Seahawks CBs Richard Sherman and Brandon Browner face suspension for PEDs

The potential suspension of Seattle Seahawks cornerbacks Brandon Browner and Richard Sherman for PEDs would be a massive blow to one of the emerging dominant defenses in the NFL.  Brandon Browner, after a short tenure in the CFL,  finally found a spot on the Seahawks last year and made the Pro Bowl.  Meanwhile, Sherman has emerged this year and been in the spotlight for a few different reasons, specifically for trolling Tom Brady and Calvin Johnson on Twitter.

The Seahawks pass defense currently ranks third in the NFL and Sherman and Browner have combined for seven of the nine interceptions by the Seahawks this season.

A lot of NFL players have been suspended for using Adderall this year, and I think the simplest thing for these players would be to spend time in the offseason getting tested for ADD, or get a doctor to write them a prescription for it.  It’s a pretty stupid thing to get suspended for, but if it is a substance that you aren’t prescribed for, then the NFL is going to punish you even if it isn’t HGH or something similar to that.

Richard Sherman is pretty confident that nothing will come of this though.
