Alabama Crimson Tide fans steal Saban cutout from BP

Alabama Crimton Tide fans are some of the most fanatical people in college football.  They get ridiculous calf tattoos, and even vote for Nick Saban for President.

On Thursday, AL.com reported that two Crimson Tide fans stole a Saban cutout from BP and story says, “Officers responding to a theft call at 1 a.m. at the gas station at 1405 University Boulevard were told that one suspect took the cutout when the cashier wasn’t looking and that another suspect opened the door for him so they could leave, said Tuscaloosa police spokesman Sgt. Brent Blankley.”

Obviously these two criminals weren’t criminal masterminds, but after they heard that the police were after them, they returned the cutout to the BP with an apology.  So you have to give them some credit for not going to jail for Saban cardboard cutout.

When asked how he felt the BP station owner Jay Rupani told the Tuscaloosa News: “I’m glad to have it back. This is our pride — it’s Nick Saban.”

Alabama fans certainly are passionate, to say the least.
