TCU beats WVU in Double OT: Scores TD on WR reverse pass and goes for two-point conversion (Video)

Yesterday I wrote a post on TCU and WVU having a wild finish that resulted in them going to overtime, but luckily for college football fans that wasn’t the end of it.

After West Virginia took the lead in double overtime, TCU called for a wide receiver reverse pass that resulted in a touchdown that would let them kick an extra point for a tie.  The pass from WR Brandon Carter to TE Corey Fuller was absolutely perfect and it looked like they had practiced it 1,000 times and no one was even in the vicinity to cover Fuller.

That wasn’t enough for the Horned Frogs as they decided to go for 2 and the win immediately after.  I have to tip my cap to TCU’s head coach Gary Patterson; fortune favors the bold.

It will be interesting to see if West Virginia can recover from this most recent loss, but they are reeling and it might be time to chalk them up as disappointments.
